CHIP BBQ in Georgetown a HUGE success...
September 08, 2011
On Saturday August 27th, 2011 we introduced CHIP CHARITABLE SERVICES to our new neighbours along with some family and friends by having a Pig Roast at the new condo (See pictures below). About 100 came out to enjoy the day which was made more memorable by the music of Clonta Florin
Catalin.
It was a feast indeed where all enjoyed fresh BBQ pork, which was cooked to perfection by Scott Gregor who donated his services which included the cooking of fresh corn on the cob, baby Parisienne potatoes, served along with Cole slaw and Caesar Salad.
CHIP not only raised over $2000.00 for the day, but more importantly we were able to raise awareness of our cause to a whole new community. We wish to thank our new neighbours for their support and hope that they will continue to support our cause in the future.
A special thanks goes out to all of the folks at the Sands Condo who volunteered their time, their services, their equipment and supplied dessert and coffee for all of our guests. Also, a big thank you to Jacquelyn and Bret and their friends who assisted throughout the day wherever they were needed.
