W. Jim Dinneen - President

Raised in rural Ontario, Jim Dinneen moved to the Toronto area in the mid 60’s where he has lived and worked for the past 40 years. He now lives in Mississauga where he and his wife Janet and their daughter Jacquelyn have resided at the same address for the past 23 years.
Jim’s comes with a successful sales and business background and was the owner of his own catering and vending business for many years. In later years Jim’s entrepreneurial spirit has led to developing working relationships with many corporations with their inventory recovery programs. Sourcing new clients and discreet disposal of sensitive inventory has earned Jim a reputation of a man of his word.
Jim and his family along with a few of his son’s friends started CHIP to honour his late son James Dinneen. They also want to bring community awareness of the mounting financial difficulties that thousands of families are facing in order to support a loved one who is fighting a debilitating disease.
 
Jean-Pierre Laporte - Secretary

Jean-Pierre co-founded CHIP Charitable Services in 2004 and has been with the organization ever since. Jean-Pierre has served as an officer or director of two other Toronto-based charities over the past 10 years and brings this hands-on experience to the table. He currently practices law in the Pension & Benefits Group of Bennett Jones LLP in their Toronto office. He is also the Co-Chair of the Liberal Party of Canada Expert Working Group on Retirement Income Security, along with his Co-Chair the Hon. Judy Sgro, M.P., P.C. providing advice to Mr. Michael Ignatieff, M.P.

Jean-Pierre has an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School, an M.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto and a B.A. from that same institution. He also speaks French and Spanish.
 
Edward Lounsbury - Treasurer

Edward Lounsbury comes to CHIP Charitable Services with over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently managing various components of an online banking website. He has also worked in the technology area developing and supporting call centre systems. Prior to that, he provided loans, mortgages, credit cards, and other banking and investment products and services directly to customers via call centres and bank branches.

Outside of the workplace, Mr. Lounsbury has had 10 years of experience in building and managing teams within the not-for-profit sector, which included creating and implementing results-oriented strategies. He also served for 18 months as treasurer of a professional banking association.

Mr. Lounsbury has an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a B.A. (Econ.) from University of Toronto. He also speaks French, Spanish, Italian and Mandarin Chinese.

Mark Campaigne

Mark Campaigne comes to CHIP CHARITABLE SERVICES with 13 years of telecommunications experience as an account executive at Bell Canada. He manages a team of industry professionals that bring communications solutions to corporate clients whose annual revenues are as high as $1.5B.

Mark ran his own business in the 1980's as a recording engineer, and provided live music production services in Toronto. It was at this time that he worked on the Easter Seals' Annual Event. He subsequently supported the Bell "Walk For Kids", the "Kids Help Phone", CHEO, The Kidney Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society and many other causes.

Mark holds a specialist Bachelors of Arts from the University of Toronto in English Literature, has studied Telecommunications management at Ryerson University, and is a graduate of the Toronto Recording Workshop.  He lives near the National Capital and plans on expanding the CHIP program in that region.
 
Agnes Haak, PhD

Agnes Haak, Ph.D., is the founder of Sparkit, a consulting firm specialized in fixing organizations. As a senior Organizational Development and Change Management consultant, Agnes has worked with companies ranging from start-ups and entrepreneurs to large scale multi-nationals in a wide range of industries. Agnes has extensive experience in providing business consulting, facilitation, research, and training services.

She published a book on organization design and change management. Agnes also presents at international conferences and teaches at graduate levels in universities. Agnes holds a Ph.D. in Business Management, a degree in Psychology and speaks several languages. In her spare time, Agnes likes to spend time with her kids. She also enjoys karate, tennis, skiing and any activities that take her outdoors. For CHIP, Agnes spearheads the expansion of CHIP communication services in Ontario hospitals.

Agnes was recently appointed to the Board in recognition of her tremendous work for CHIP.
 
Frank Valicek

Frank joined CHIP Charitable Services as a Board Member in July 2007.  During the course of more than ten years at a major mutual fund firm, he occupied progressively senior positions with his most recent responsibilities including the supervision of a professional team of Private Wealth Consultants entrusted with the servicing and advising over $450 million in client assets.

Seeking a new challenge, Frank joined as a partner with DOT Integrated Financial where his focus is on customized investment and insurance solutions to high net worth clients, particularly within the medical profession.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, he holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, has instructed the CFP preparatory course for Seneca College’s Financial Services Practitioners Program, and served on the Investment Funds Institute of Canada’s public relations committee.  Frank lives in Richmond Hill, Ontario, with his wife and two young children.
